Change control is challenging. This flow chart illustrates the appropriate actions when introducing a new piece of equipment (Controlled Temperature Unit or CTU) into GMP operations. The document shows the interrelationship between the engineering, QA and validation so the user can visualize the steps needed from the start (writing the User Requirement Specification) to the finish (closing the change management record).
